So I have come to expect slow service from Sonic. Knowing that I still went because I love their shakes. I took my sons to get a treat and we thought we would just grab some shakes from the drive though and head to a park. I waited in the drive through line for half an hour!! When I finally it to the window, no one was there. I figured some of the cars ahead must have had bigger orders and they were just working on my order. I couldn't not have been more wrong. A gentleman I assumed to be the manager was taking to a car in the carhop area, and I could see two girls, employees, sitting around in the back chatting! Finally someone came to the window and I paid, then had to wait about another 5-10 minutes for our Shakes. While I waited in of the chatting girls got up and told whom ever was at the drive through speaker that they would be with them shortly, then sat down and continued talking to her co-worker. They only get two stars because the shakes were so good, but I will not be going to this location again. Maybe you can go here if you are sad and lonely and have tons Of time to kill, and don't want to sit at home alone, but don't expect anyone here to have good service skills, at least you won't be sitting a home

This cannot be called a fast food restaurant at all. I've had sit down restaurants that are faster. Yes, we came during happy hour but that is no excuse. It took several minutes to to take our order after pushing the button, about ten to get our food, and the order was wrong. The worker who brought the food did absolutely nothing because they entered it wrong for the receipt so we ended up ordering my burger AGAIN. Took 10 plus minutes to take our order, and over ten minutes again to get the ONE jr burger. But oh wait! They bring the wrong order for the second time!!! Are they doing this just to mess with people?! Absolutely ridiculous. By far the worst sonic I have ever been to and will not be going back here

Worst sonic ever. Literally the slowest drive through service in my life. Every time we have come here the drive through has taken at LEAST 15 minutes to even order. Then, when you get to the window it's another 5 min to get your order, the employees are less than competent and by the time I get my shake it's already melted... Word to the owner: pick it up a notch, I will no longer go to this location.

Sonic is not typically known for stellar dining experiences - but this was our worst sonic experience ever. We parked in a stall and had to press the button 3 times before any one answered. Order came out after what felt like eternity - with small two kids in the car this was maddening. After about 20 minutes someone emerged with our food - and the order was wrong. We realized this, unfortunately, too late and had to call again for assistance. After another 5-10 min someone finally answered and we explained to them our issue and she said she would be out to the car. She came very quickly and remedied the issue very expeditiously however the damage had been done. I would have given this place 1 star if it had not been for this manager's speedy response, but I absolutely cannot go above 2 stars because of the wait time and wrong order.

This place is consistently the slowest fast food restaurant I've ever experienced. A typical drive-thru visit consists of waiting at the speaker for five to ten minutes, sometimes without so much as a, "please wait one moment." Takes another ten to twenty minutes to actually get your food in the drive-thru. Most people just leave without ordering after sitting at the speaker without acknowledgment for several minutes. I usually waste about half of my hour-long lunch waiting for my food whenever I go here. Probably won't bother to try anymore!

There seems to be a lot of variance between Sonic locations in the Salt Lake/Utah county area. The American Fork location is pretty consistent. They aren't the fastest, but I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a drink order. The tots are always cooked just right. They seem to go a little crazy on the whipped cream on shakes, even when I order one without whip. Of any of the Sonics, AF Sonic has the best ice. When I buy a bag, it seems to stay crushed longer (without freezing into big chunks). If you're a fan of Dirty Diet Cokes, be sure to ask for your drink with the coconut cream syrup (not blue coconut).

This used to be the "better" Sonic, at least compared to the PG one. I've never bothered to write a review on a fast food restaurant, because I set my standards for them pretty low, but tonight was bad even for fast food. There was no line in the drive thru and someone took my order at the speaker promptly. I pulled up to the window and waited and waited...and waited. I didn't even realize how long it had been till I looked at the clock and saw it had been over 10 minutes. There was a line of five cars behind me. Finally, the window opens and the guy there was shocked that I hadn't even paid for my food. I handed over my credit card but I should have just left while I had the chance because what I received was two lukewarm kids' meals that had probably been packed right after ordering and then sat, bags open, while everybody was oblivious to the cars outside.

LIARS. We ordered a sweet tea and they failed twice before we demanded to see a manager. She informed us that they will no longer be pre brewing the sweet tea, instead they are tossing a couple of sugar packets in a regular bitter tea. False advertising much? I am calling corporate/ area management as soon as I get home. Service is slow, orders are wrong, bathrooms are filthy and this was the last straw.

My husband and I stopped here for some shakes. Every stall was empty, but the drive-thru line was crazy, which doesn't make sens to me, but whatever. I ordered the "Chocolate Cheesecake" shake and my husband got the "Peanut Butter" shake. I few minutes later the waitress skated up with our order. She forgot to give us straws and spoons, but came back with the spoons. The Peanut Butter shake was awesome!! It wasn't over powering or anything, it was perfect. Unfortunately for me, my Chocolate Cheesecake shake tasted a little off. It was lemony and tart. It seriously tasted like a Lemon Meringue Pie Shake (I don't think they even make one of those.) On top of that, my shake was very melted. It didn't have any body at all, it was ice cream soup, which was very hard to eat with no straw.. Anyways, good prices & nice workers. I'll make sure to order something with peanut butter in it next time.

Is there an option of 0 stars? I have had nothing but problems. After today I swear to never go back. The girl taking orders (Crystal) was extremely rude, she wan't listening when I took my order and screamed "WHAT??" in a completely rude voice several times. They still managed to get my order wrong and it took a super long time. Sonic is usually slow, but this location is the worst. How hard is it to make a lemon-berry slush?

Lady at the drive-through was not paying attention and asked what we said after everything we ordered. Then when we went to the window everyone was just chatting and joking around no wonder they had to keep asking what we had just ordered

Hands down the WORST sonic I've ever been to. Took over 15 minutes to Get 2 drinks...and they were wrong!! I had to send them back twice in order to get them right...and the employees were RUDE!! If you want a great experience, avoid this location like the plague!!

This Sonic is has terrible service! On top of that they don't sell their ice like they advertise. They always say that there ice machine isn't working properly which is a load of crap. It just makes me mad that I have to drive all the way to the PG Sonic just to get ice. If your not going to sell it, don't advertise it!!!!! They need new management at this location that understand what it mean to take care of the customer!!

It's Sonic. What do you expect? Happy hour (watered down) drinks are 1/2 off between 2-4p everyday. The tots are superior to fries. After 9p the Popcorn Chicken is a lower price, tender and juicy (their honey mustard dipping sauce is good).

The only place for Happy Hour drinks. I'll never pay full price for food items on the menu because it just isn't good. Saturday is discounted mozzarella sticks. Friday their breakfast sandwich is discounted.
